Getting students to discover and practice the connections between letters and the sounds they represent should be an important part of any English class routine since this is one of the four basic skills needed on learning a second language. The activities can be adjusted to meet and adapt to different levels.
We can learn simple words at the beginning and step by step we can introduce other words in a very meaningful learning.
It is very important that students in this age can have different sensory experiences, such as touching the items they are acquiring, or learn a group of words in a basic rhythm, since music sticks in our brains and in this way is much easier remember what they are learning.
We acquire vocabulary by means of a wide range of activities, one of which is the image and sound correspondence.
Actually, in this part of the worksheet, we do not need to read every letter of the word, but we just need to recognize some specific sounds in the word, in order to distinguish them from other sounds in other words.

Facer que @s alumn@s descubran e practiquen as conexións entre as letras e os sons que representan debe ser unha parte importante de calquera rutina da clase de Inglés xa que esta é unha das catro destrezas básicas necesarias cando aprendemos un segundo idioma. As actividades poden ser axustadas para atender e adaptarse a diferentes niveis.
Podemos aprender palabras simples ao principio, e paso a paso, podemos introducir outras palabras cunha aprendizaxe sempre moi significativa. É moi importante que @s alumn@s desta idade podan ter diferentes experiencias sensoriais, tal como tocar os elementos que están adquirindo, ou aprender un grupo de palabras en un ritmo básico, xa que a música pégase aos nosos cerebros e, deste xeito, é moito máis doado lembrar o que se está aprendendo.
Nós adquirimos o vocabulario por medio dunha gran variedade de actividades, unha delas é a imaxe e a correspondencia sonora.
En realidade, nesta parte da ficha, non se precisa ler cada letra da palabra, senon que só necesitamos recoñecer algúns sons específicos na palabra, a fin de discriminar-los doutros sons das outras palabras.
