Halloween '16: Our Spooky Ghost

Material we have used:
- White paper napkins
- Green paper napkins
- A black marker pen
- Pieces of string or yarn



These days we have been learning a song about typical spooky and scary characters at Halloween time. The last day before our little fall break, we made a very spooky ghost to sing and dance the song we have learnt.

Estes días estivemos aprendendo unha canción con personaxes de medo típicos destas datas do Samaín. O último día antes das nosas pequenas vacacións de outono fixemos unha pantasma que da moito medo para cantar e bailar esta canción que aprendemos.

Maintaining kids' interest all along the whole lesson is sometimes a difficult task, but the song-based lesson is a motivating resource to engaged students. Music is not a very creative tool, we all have often used music in our lessons, I know, but it always works if we acompany it with other motivating techniques connected to the song and also regarding to the age and interests of our pupils.

Manter o interese dos nenos e nenas ao longo de toda a lección é unha tarefa difícil ás veces, pero a lección baseada na música é un recurso motivador para os alumnos implicados. A música non é unha ferramenta moi creativa, todos temos usado frecuentemente música nas nosas aulas, pero sempre funciona se nós a acompañamos con outras técnicas de motivación ligadas á música e tamén en relación á idade e intereses dos nosos alumnos.
